What we cover
Bet-MT explains gambling in Montana and, for comparison, in other markets: the law, how sports betting and casino games work, bonus terms, payments and taxes. We do not take bets, run a casino or accept payment to rank an operator.
How figures are checked
Every number that appears in a table, a fact box or a headline is taken from a named source, and the source is shown next to it: a statute, an agency page or a published report. If we cannot find a source for a figure, it is left out. Where a rule changed recently, the article says which year the rule applies to.
Corrections
If a page is wrong or out of date, write to the desk at the address on the contacts page. We fix confirmed errors on the page itself and change the review date shown at the top.
Guides in other languages
Some older guides were written for readers in other countries and are kept in their own language. They are listed on the translation register. They describe those markets, not Montana law.
Links
Pages may link to other sites. Some of those links were placed by arrangement with the site owner; they are ordinary links and do not change what the page says. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to gamble.
